I’d like one, can;t count the number of times I have had to sit out during this piece, the conductor liked it so much….!

I am working with a 6 year old, and the progress and her level of attention varies from one visit to the next, so as much as she ‘loves’ the harp, I think at the moment it’s just one of many activities and opportunities for learning.

Could it be simply that the plastic/synthetic bushes are worn, like little washers.

I bought quite a bit: John Marson’s El Picaflor, Amorosi’s Pastorale Harp + Clarinet duo, then Saint-Saens Violin and Harp Fantasia, and Paul Paterson’s Bugs, probably 2-3 volumes for beginner level and the entire set of orchestral parts available from Subito music.

Why not call the harp shops in the UK such as Holywell Music in London and the Salvi shop in Remagen near Bonn, or Camac in Paris and ask them for a hire harp, check out the other countries on the Salvi/Lyon Healy website

I am resting completely, the harps all covered up. Having spent a few weeks obsessively working on this cadenza, I overdid it, made my right wrist and elbow tendons sore and developed such a jerky action in my 4th and 3rd fingers that I couldn’t play normally or legato in other pieces for a while (very worrying).

I think it just got held up, as it was assumed to be a double coffin.
