For a first harp, a harp that can touch the floor (either through the drop-down leg, or the wonderful add-on leg stand for $99) may be easier to learn on, because you don’t have to worry about holding it the same way you would with a lap harp.
Maria, I would recommend getting the leg stand for your Ravenna (extra $99), and if so, get the deluxe carrying case, which is much nicer for carrying the leg stand when you transport the harp.
My only advice is to put full detail about your harp (serial number, maker, number of levers, type of case, etc. and any accessories) in the contract and keep a fully signed copy for yourself.

Besides New Blues by Deborah Henson-Conant, you can try Latin Groove by John Metras, Epices (two volumes) by Bernard Andres, and Easy Swing by Jakez Francois (there’s a nice little ragtime piece in that collection)
I second that, I have students that have these, and I knew by the next time around to have the student ask for the longer Loveland levers.
There are also books published just for double-strung, although I’ve found that some of them hardly have any points in the music where the hands cross/overlap or echo/duplicate notes, so shop carefully!
