The weekly review
Assignment: Complete your first weekly review: note your successes, challenges, and plan next weekโs adjustments.
Every week, spend 10 minutes reviewing your practice log and answering three questions: (1) What strategies worked well this week? (2) What didnโt produce the results I wanted? (3) What will I adjust for next week? This prevents you from mindlessly repeating ineffective practice habits week after week. Maybe you discovered that practicing before breakfast works better than evening practice, or that five 20-minute sessions beat one 100-minute marathon. These insights are the key to your practice successโbut only if you actually notice them and adjust accordingly.
