Check out Marjorie Hartzell’s Pedal Pamphlet (explanations and drills). They have it at harpconnection.com

Personally, I like having multiple harps! There is always one that sounds better for certain songs, and different tones to match my moods. Plus, have the added bonus of having harps available for friends who want to come play. 🙂

I ordered a Colorado Co case for my Ravenna to bring on deployment with me. Worked out very well, and I recommend them highly!

I use an off-white carpet so it’s easier to see the strings!

I’ve met a few…was waiting in line at LAX with Viggo Mortenson (another guy waaay shorter than expected!), and in the course of work have met George W and Laura Bush, Rumsfeld, Abizaid, Odierno, Tony Blair, etc.

My husband is a ballroom dance teacher, and was teaching in a studio in Monterey, CA. I stopped by the studio one evening, and he introduced me to his student at the time. I apologized to her for staring, and said she just looked really familiar. In a rather haughty tone she replied ‘well, I AM an actress!’

Turned out she was Barbara Babcock…and none too pleased I didnt know that immediately! ;-)

Rojean Loucks has arrangements for (I think) all of them…I know she has Over the Rainbow and Moon River for sure.

Some guys saw me carrying the harp in its case and asked if it was a MANPAD. ;-)

Keeping two and adding the third (and the fourth and fifth and so on…!) gets my vote!

Yep, the very same. The beautiful yellow roses drew me to it (yellow roses are my mother’s favorite), but the gorgeous sound is what convinced me I couldn’t leave it behind. I admit to being something of a harp junkie…the Ceili joined 8 other harps at home (to include two Dustys). They’re all just so unique…dont think I could ever decide on just one! ;-)

I had heard about the Dustys, but had limited exposure to Thormahlens until playing one (walnut Ceili) by chance at VHC. Fell in love, and it went home with me! :-)

Yea, I never received a case that fit either…and my husband tells me that once again, the master of excuses is dodging calls. Not impressed.
