I’m 12 and when I was 7 I started on the lever harp. When I was 9, my parents bought me a Lyon and Healy Prelude and 3 months ago I got a Lyon and Healy Model 85 Concert Grand (we kept the Prelude because my sisters plays). Overall, I like pedal harps best.

I’m 12 and I got a Lyon and Healy Prelude 3 years ago. About 3 three months ago I got a Lyon and Healy Model 85 Concert Grand and I am ssooo happy! When you upgrade, just make sure that you can handle a pedal harp. It shouldn’t be too heavy for you.

I’m only 12, but I get $50 an hour for backround music and $100 an hour for weddings.

There are also graded lists of pieces in the Federation of Music Educators handbooks.

Although these lists are good, I’m sure that recommendations from teachers are more valuable.
