There concern about glue joints in harps weakening under normal conditions (e.g., under 100 degrees farenheit) is one I’d never heard of.

In deference to the highly esteemed Mr. Grandjany, who was dragged into my limerick merely by dint of the sound of his last name, (and the topic of our discussion), as its author, I now elect to make his student less biased.
We’ve kind of discussed this to death, possibly beyond death.
I agree with Zen and Tacye in a way – there is the danger that the beginner will be seduced by the carvings and looks of the inexpensive Pakistani harps into thinking they’re getting more harp than they really are.
