Today’s Tip:
hone in on harmonics
To improve the right-hand harmonics needed in “Bright Spot,” HCA master teacher Lynne Aspnes suggests, “Find the middle length of the string. Stop the string with the middle between your second finger’s nail bed and first knuckle. Gently pluck the top half of the string with the thumb for a very reliable right hand harmonic.”
