for an idea of what level I’m at I just finished Haenel’s Passacaille and Pescetti’s Sonata in C minor, and am working on Mozart’s Flute and Harp concerto.
Have a look at the Persichetti Serenade for Flute and Harp. It’s a lot of fun and should be technically within reach. Good luck.

Yes, weddings are a great way to start! It’s always good to begin with something where you’re quite noticable, but not having a stagelight on you…. You might also want to try playing during the cocktail hours of a wedding of someone in your family- another great way to get started in the world of harp preforming…
i started at age 9 with no prior piano lessons, nor any musical education of any form previous to picking the harp- and I learned fine… i’d say piano would help- but no, you don’t need it- though it is nice to be a jump ahead of the gang. Ha! by now, your probably a teenager.. welll that’s all for now…..

Do you play Mozart’s flute and harp concerto? Or are double concertos not allowed? Perhaps you could try Bach’s Italian concerto? The bach quite difficult and written for piano/harpsichord, so you will have to adapt it a bit- I’m learning both and the Mozart and Bach currently- and they’re both very big projects- lengthy and difficult (musically and technically)- but VERY fun to play/listen to! For something shorter- go With the handel. I learned the First so far and plan to go to the 2nd and 3rd once I perfect either the bach or mozart. I haven’t really done the danses- only looked at the first or second pages… Remember- there’s lots of music out there!! 🙂
