Ok, I think we may have fixed this problem. It had to do with the email notification settings, so Balfour, let me know if your emails do not start appearing again.

Also please let us know if the problem happens again.

    Thanks everyone!

If anyone can provide more info it would be helpful. I’m not replicating the problem here, so I can’t quite understand what’s happening. Please send screenshots or error messages! Thanks!

    Hi Syliva:

I’m not able to replicate that problem. Can you send  us a screen shot of what’s happening so I can take a better look? Which post are you trying to respond to?

If anyone else is having this problem, please let us know.

    Hi Susanne:

Please accept our apologies. We had a technical issue with the website earlier today, and your post must have fallen during this timeframe. Can you post again? We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks so much for using the Harp Column forums!

    Hi Balfour:

That’s strange, I’m not able to duplicate that from my end. Are you signed in when you click the link? Can you send me the url?

    Hi Balfour:

So sorry! We did have a problem over the weekend causing our front page to not display correctly for a short time. Looks like you caught us! It should be fixed now, but let us know if you see any other issues.

    Hi Sylvia:

Glad you got the problem sorted out.

We’d like to clarify that we did respond quickly to your personal email over the weekend. We think that’s pretty good service ;-).

Hi Meesterhap. We don’t allow self-hosted videos, but you can paste your Youtube link directly into your post and it should embed as a video.

    Hi John:

Thanks for your message and your interest in our forums! Actually, you can start your own forum by creating a Group. (Click the groups tab under “Community” and be sure you are logged in.) All groups have their own forums!

Because of the group feature, we don’t have any plans to add any main forums here in the near future.

    Hi everyone:

I wanted to make sure you all knew about our feature article “Take Note,” written by Elizabeth Jaxon, which appeared in our November-December 2015 issue. She gives basics for getting started in two popular notation programs, Finale and Sibelius.

Elizabeth also produced 31 tutorial videos showing how to do harp specific notation in both programs. They are excellent!

These articles are part of our magazine section so you will need to be a logged in subscriber to view them.
