Thanks for posting your question Kynkari! Just to clarify what you mentioned in your original post, Harp Column does not sell decals. Thanks to all who have weighed in with other options.

Hi Terry: You should receive an email from anyone who responds to your ad. After that it’s up to you to communicate directly with them. You can also let us know when your ad sells and we can remove it so you don’t get any more inquiries. Please send us a private email if you’d like to remove your ad, including a link to the ad.
Good idea about the help page. We are working right now on a more detailed explanation of classifieds for our FAQ page.

Hi Sylvia:
We’ve tested editing on the forums and we were able to edit both the title and the topic, even after someone else has replied. You should definitely be able to do this if you are logged in.
It isn’t possible for users to delete threads, since you’d then potentially be deleting responses as well. This is not something we can change about how the forum setup works.
However, admins can delete threads, so if there’s something you feel should be deleted just let us know and we’ll take a look.

We’re looking into your issues. One thing I’ve just discovered is that a “comment” on a forum post in the activity stream is not the same as “replying” in the forum. I just made a comment to this post in the activity stream, and it’s not showing up here, so I’m posting this reply instead. I’m wondering if that’s what you’re noticing as well.
At any rate I do see your recent post in the Christian Harpists forum, so it is showing up. Do you see it?

Thanks for the input everyone. Donna: you mean at the very top of the site where it says “trending” and then a link to a thread? Can you please forward us an example of one of those?
To clarify, we have been sending emails to our mailing list about classified ads, upcoming content (harpmobiles), and new Harp Column Music products, etc. While we’d love it if you’d stay on our mailing list (:-) you can easily remove yourself by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Those emails are sent using a different service than the automatic site notifications about forum thread responses, etc.
Keep the info coming and we’ll try to sort it out!

Can you give us as much info as possible about what notifications you’re getting? Are they for one particular thread, and if so which one? Every thread? New threads? Old threads? Exactly when did it start? We’ll try to get to the bottom of it. Feel free to email us with details rather than posting if you prefer.
