    Hello Mr Milligan,

Your posts are always very thoughtful and no need to apologise, you are completely right. I’ve been very upset and disturbed by how I was treated and quite worried that others will fall into the same situation if I do not say something.

And part of that is due to the fact, that this forum influenced my choice to buy a certain brand of harp that was unknown to me, and then it was an unmitigated disaster. I found that nothing that was said on the column was true in my case in anyway, my experience was the exact opposite.

And I think if people are going to sing the praises on this column of this company or that, people need to also know what that company is like when things do not go to plan. So that harpists can make a balanced judgement. Otherwise it is kind of like false advertising, in a way.

But sometimes I need to put the breaks on and slow down, and I thank you sincerely for reminding me of that.

    Regards,

    Rosemary.

Hello Scully, oops, I mean Sherry……you are such a clever cookie! Yes, it is a code, I see it all now…it has nothing to do with harps, harp companies or harpists at all……

Rosemary, I have never seen this ‘clunker’ but here is my story for what it is worth.

It’s all because of a ghost!

When I was small, we lived near a town that had two Catholic colleges, one for women, one for men, on opposite sides of town.

In defense of foreigners, I’m not so sure he’s foreign. I find his grammar problems inconsistent and suspect it a ruse – a bold and cunning subterfuge to hide his real identity…

Well yes, harp companies are in it to make money. Business is ruthless and business people are ruthless. And any company that tells you otherwise, that they really care about you or you are a member of

John Doe mainly posts at 6 or 7 o’clock in the evening – and a couple of times at 3 in the afternoon. So! Is he a college student that gets home at 3? Or is he a worker that has his afternoon tea break then? The rest of the time is after dinner, I assume when he has got home from work/college. He is probably posting from the US or Canada then, or the time zone would not work – although we need to check this out more thoroughly.

I agree, it is not the Carlston, although it did occur to me…As Carlston is too refined, the posts are just too ‘gauche’.

I’m flattered that someone thinks its me, it would be

Mysterious and intriguing…he seems to just make these bold and (seemingly) dubious statements and then disappear. I think he probably does have serious tale to tell and I’d love to know it! But smelly carts and harps that turn green have this amusing side that I cannot resist!

Please tell us what is up Johno, we’d love to know. Most of us are extremely intrigued and would try and help if we could!

And maybe the harps were in there too and that is what turned all those harps green….the foam from the fire extinguisher!!…

But seriously, if John does have a real complaint I’d love to know it. I know that harp companies can be naughty and this is the right forum for it, so that you can let others know so they do not make the same mistakes. So, if he does want to have a chat about it, I should probably stop teasing him so he can come out with it….

    Hi Maria,

Yes, isn’t Mr Doe so intriguing. I love a bit of drama…he told a wonderful story about someone locking themselves in the wood drying room at the Salvi factory and setting it on fire due to the cruel treatment of Mr Victor himself. Ooohhh, it was just like a B grade soap opera, and someone suggested a new reality show (
