Hmmm….Jane’s email seems to be American so I assume it’s not Rosemary after all (nor I since I live in Asia). I do not think John and Jane are the same person….Perhaps, John is a smelly ghost wandering in from somewhere?

Mimi? S, mi chiamano Mim You make me sound like something out of La Boheme…well, I certainly live a Bohemian life of poverty…I am selling my violin for food (since I have decided to give up the guitar and violin for harp) though I have yet to be successful….nice to be a soprano and sing the title role for once (in real life I am probably a mezzo)…

I think I will join you guys by telepathic conference using my awesome spiritual skills since that would be even cheaper…

My head is spinning with the abrupt appearance of Jane Doe…I fear we may have frightened our original quarry away…

For the record, I would state that I am neither John nor Jane but I suspect Jane is either Rosemary or some regular poster in disguise having fun. I hope it is not Rosemary because it would be too creepy to see her talking to herself….

    Hi Jerusha,

I think I know who Jane Doe is…but do not want to blow her cover yet until I’m really sure……and also, its kinda fun to wait and see what she says next…..

Smelly harp STINGS ?? The harp is alive and maybe contagious as speculated previously? Maybe the exotic wood that was used in production was stinging nettles?? Hope you are not allergic Jane….

Perhaps John is a transgender Korrigan? That’s why s/he likes Camacs cos they’re named after him/her/it?

And note that his/her/its gold harps turn green(a fairy colour)…the gold is merely faery glamour and doesn’t last….or his unwholesome “fallen” nature turns everything he touches green and smelly…

Perhaps he is here on a mission to spirit away good harps and leave his own green/smelly ones in their places…keep an eye on your harps!

(Yes, I am suffering from harplust-induced insanity)

Indeed! That could explain the “accent”

    Hi
The left hand is playing the part of de fat finger over the guitar… ok. The right hand is all the time with the tremolo.
Is very difficult for me to explain with words (… and in english). Your hand must be on the soundboard. Fingers 2 and 3 go to the string straight. You have to move the string up and down alternatively. The other finger is waiting to attack another note. That s the simple tremolo what I used on that recording.

There is another way to do: is the double tremolo. Fingers 2 and 3 over the same string. I d used this on Ritual dance of the fire (M. Falla)
Usually I play Recuerdos de la Alhambra with double tremolo but, over an electric harp in recording like that, it will be a little noisy: you add a percussion on the pick-ups…

Errr…sentience then…or it could be a malevolent Breton fairy wandering out of Broceliande and sneaking into some nearby villager’s house

Perhaps it is an alien intelligence from beyond the stars or a mainframe that has gained enough self-awareness to chatter about harps that has insinuated itself into the Internet?!

Forgot to ask, how did you do the tremolo part of Recuerdos on the harp? Is it like the way you do it on guitar by rapidly alternating fingers on the same string?
