Gee..it sounds quite complicated! But thanks for your explanation, Tony.
I don’t usually care to title for beginner’s music. To me pretty much of them are just nonsense and have a few (if not at all) relationship to the music. But this one really tickle my curiosity nerve :-)

    Hi Barbara,
Sorry but I don’t get it. Do you mean if I have a Paypal user account I don’t necessary to have money deposited at my Paypal account as long as I have credit card? Actually I’m really new at this matter. Maybe you can give me some clue how to use Paypal as a payment device?

Problem solved! I’ve just got an email reply from Wolfgang Kerscher. I’m so amazed how they answer my inquiries in detail so quickly (and in good English too, maybe it’s even better than mine :-)! )
I’ll consider to make a paypal account for payment. While I’ll wait it processed I’ll be looking for their sooo many choice of harp music. Mel, this one you recommend is fabulous!

Glad knowing they will be willing to communicate in English Mel. I would like to learn German some day. Currently I’m taking harp and French lesson after work, so I guess it’s wise to stay out of new problem ;-)
But still, I didn’t find any of their email address. Do you order books by letter sent via airmail? Maybe you can help me on this.

Mr. S, I found that glissando.de sells European books cheaper than if you buy the books from American store, while American books are more expensive. I believe it’s due to the shipping cost. For me that live neither in that two region, it’s more economical to buy European books from glissando.de and buy American books from us.harp.com for example. By the way, can you recommend me good site to translate German to English?

Mel, after reading your post I go to glissando.de and I found that books from Europe publishers are cheaper rather than if I buy from us.harp.com. I guess then I don’t have to wait until end of the year to buy some books in my wish list :-)

I believe Virginia Harp Center has both a used Webster 18th Century and a Prelude for sale at this time. Maybe you can call them for opinion.

No problem Barbara, but you’re correct that I live in Indonesia. There are some professions involving the harp. You can be a harp performer, harp teacher, harp seller, harp technician, etc. For me I think become the one who provide music is quite interesting. Since I already have a job I thought that arranging music could be a profitable weekend project after practicing on my harp :-)

Get it. Thank you for your valuable input harp guy. One question is…how if some of the publishers are no longer exist? (for example Hammelle & Cie-Paris, Carrisch & Janischen-Milan, etc)

    Thank you Jennifer.
While I lurked on afghan press I noticed that you have made a Pachelbel’s transcription. Would you mind to share your experience handling the copyright issue? The cover art is beautiful, do you design it?

Sorry I don’t get it. Do you mean that Faure’s compositions are public domain?

Hmm..never thought of that. I only know a composition become a public domain 50 years after the composer’s death. Thank you for the thought , Karen. There are so many lever harp transcription published commercially nowadays so I never thought of copyright held by the publisher.

What a shame..I’ve done a transcription of a beautiful lullaby by Alexander Spendiarov and am now working on Faure’s Romance Sans Paroles. Hopefully someone will tell me how to handle the copyright issue..

I just started play Grossi, but I’m also looking for any other classical beginner etude that is adaptable for lever harp. As far I know there is an edition of Bochsa etudes adapted for lever harp by Denise Megevand but I’m not sure if the source came from Universal Method or from op 318 or other opus number.
