I am in the same boat right now. Need to okay this show the first two weeks of December, but the organizer can’t get the harp part to me for another week or so. I haven’t played this music for 30 years, and I know it will take a lot of work.

Did you have any luck finding a copy of the harp part of the newer version of this harp part???

I noticed this post of yours on HarpColumn.com and am wondering if you have Holy’s music for sale or available for download from somewhere on your website. I didn’t see any links for music sales or downloads at your site.

    Thanks!

    Hello, Renate,

Yes, I have a harp blog where I post all sorts of information about my own “harping” and harp events, music, new publications, etc.

A fully restored/rebuilt Pleyel cross-strung, a Lyon Healy 23 in bubinga (if there were such a thing), a gut-strung Thormahlen Swan in bubinga, a lifetime supply of strings for all of my harps, a larger vehicle to transport them all in, and a bigger house where they could all live happily!

    Hi, Terry!

I don’t visit the HarpColumn very often, so I’m sorry it has taken a while for me to reply to your message.

This one really isn’t harp related, but my sister plays piano and has a little shitzu who will go and get one particular squeaky toy and sit under the baby grand, squeaking along in rhythm with “Fur Elise.”

From what I have heard and learned about the Breton harps, you would be much better off putting your money towards a Dusty Strings Ravenna or another well-made harp instead of one that is poorly constructed and uses “knock-off” levers!
