    Hello everyone,

Im new here, and I have just taken possession of a Caitlin 38 string Dupont double strung harp, and was wondering are there any sites where I can download manuals, teaching aids (free or otherwise) to learn how to play this instrument?

If you are an absolute beginner, one of those nine teachers should still be able to help you learn the basics on your natural strings. Every C tune I know, I could carry onto my Caitlin. Restringing with the Markwood set helps because all the sharp strings are black.

I believe there are still some players of chromatic harp in Belgium. You might contact a teacher there and go from time to time for lessons.

Andrew Lawrence King might be able to help. His contact details are on the Harp Consort website http://www.theharpconsort.com/

    Hi, Terry!

I don’t visit the HarpColumn very often, so I’m sorry it has taken a while for me to reply to your message.
