Honoring Brook Boddie

We at Harp Column are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of harpist Brook Boddie. Already an accomplished pianist and organist, Brook fulfilled his life-long dream of learning the harp in his mid-30s and quickly made a name for himself through his gentle, evocative compositions and arrangements. The care he put into his music was matched by his big heart, as he regularly volunteered for a local inpatient hospice and at a residential facility for the physically and intellectually disabled. Brook has made an incredible impact, gifting the harp community at large with a myriad of beautiful melodies in both his original compositions and hymn arrangements. Join us in honoring Brook’s legacy by ringing out the melodies of his wonderful works.
