Brook Boddie's original composition “Elegy,” is a harp solo inspired by memories of loved ones for lever or pedal harp. It is an evocative yet simple piece with repeated melodic motives. “It could be effectively used in almost any setting, sacred or secular,” says the composer. The piece is at an easy intermediate level and is written in E flat with an optional version in D, with no accidentals.
