Rose Version 1–Beginnings

$5.00

Trista Hill’s Rose Version 1–Beginnings is for solo lever or pedal harp. “Rose was born when, decades ago, I was asked to provide harp music for a wedding I knew would be personally and emotionally challenging to play,” says Hill. “This piece was constructed so it could be completely improvised – it follows the chord progression of Canon in D, but then unfolds into a three-chord motif that can be repeated as long as needed to shorten or lengthen the song.” Version 1, Beginnings employs simple arpeggios and chord shapes and has a slower, waltz-like flavor. There are no lever or pedal changes. You will receive the composer’s original cover art, composition notes, sheet music, plus a page of blank staff paper.
