Rose Version 1–Beginnings
$5.00
Trista Hill’s Rose Version 1–Beginnings is for solo lever or pedal harp. “Rose was born when, decades ago, I was asked to provide harp music for a wedding I knew would be personally and emotionally challenging to play,” says Hill. “This piece was constructed so it could be completely improvised – it follows the chord progression of Canon in D, but then unfolds into a three-chord motif that can be repeated as long as needed to shorten or lengthen the song.” Version 1, Beginnings employs simple arpeggios and chord shapes and has a slower, waltz-like flavor. There are no lever or pedal changes. You will receive the composer’s original cover art, composition notes, sheet music, plus a page of blank staff paper. One of my all time my favorite pieces–beautiful and sophisticated-sounding but fits under the hand very well and came together quickly for me. About an advanced beginner level. (I am an adult learner with very little music background and have been doing lessons for 10 years.)
