Waking Early (Duo)

Stephen Dunstone’s original composition “Waking Early” is for two lever or pedal harps. The piece starts with a dreamy, stretchy, “early-morning-in-bed kind of introduction,” says Dunstone, “full of rubato arpeggios and big rolled chords. It then leaps out of bed into a fast and lively second half.” The piece is also available as a trio for mixed level ensembles.
