Ribbons

Stephanie Curcio’s Ribbons is for solo lever or pedal harp. The first part of this piece is based on descending 7th chord arpeggios in both hands, which return again at the end of the piece. The middle section consists of a melodic interlude. Curcio mentions this piece is similar to Samuel Pratt’s  “The Little Fountain,” but not quite as long. Curcio says not only is the piece a “good 7th chord etude, but it is also a great audience pleaser.”
