Butterflies

Stephanie Curcio’s Butterflies is for solo pedal harp. This expressive piece “was written for the annual butterfly release by the New Hampshire Hospital for Children honoring those who have passed due to illness and tragedy,” says Curcio. The piece, light in style, uses the higher register of the harp before developing into flowing glissandi with left hand melody.
