Anna Thormahlen Jenkins and Sharon Thormahlen’s Prelude for Peace is for lever harp, handbells, flute, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, and choir. This piece is written in “passacaglia” style using a repeating base line with variations above in one or more voices. Although the words are very few, they are symbolic of world peace and love. The book contains the full score and parts for all instruments listed above, with the addition of triangle, and the viola/clarinet parts transposed for C instrument.
