Rachel Hair has arranged Fraser Shaw’s “Caoidh Sandy” for solo lever or pedal harp. “‘Caoidh Sandy‘ or ‘Sandy’s Lament’ was written by Fraser Shaw after the tragic loss of a close friend on Skye,” says the arranger. “When Fraser played this on the whistle, he would silence a room. It’s one of those tunes that has the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.”
