Beltane Dance / Maitanz

Monika Stadler’s original composition “Beltane Dance / Maitanz” is for solo lever or pedal harp. About the tune set, Stadler says, “The lightness of spring after the darkness and heaviness of winter inspires this lively and joyful dance. In the old Celtic tradition, Beltane was a fire festival at the end of April, occurring exactly between spring and summer, to celebrate the fertility of the coming year.” This piece can also be purchased as part of Stadler’s book New Shoots–Old Roots.
