“Arcana is a mysterious name to describe the ancient tarot cards, better known today as playing cards. In this series of 22 musical arcana, I wanted to transpose this initiatory and philosophical path to wisdom as in a form of meditation to be played with one’s instrument, being inspired by a card. Short, modern, and simple pieces, based on medieval mood theory, where ancient rhythms and modes created different emotions, to immerse oneself in sound introspection. Choose a card and let’s be inspired to create your own improvisations and compositions!”
