Celtic Prelude II

Laurie Riley and Beth Kollé’s arrangement of Turlough O’Carolan’s “Celtic Prelude II” is for solo lever or pedal harp. Also known as “Lady St. John,” this piece begins march like and is contrasted by the dark, mysterious first phrase of the second part. O’Carolan wraps the two seemingly disparate sections together in a graceful conclusion. This piece can also be purchased as part of Riley and Kollé’s collection Wedding Music for the Lever Harp.
