Prelude in F Major

Laura Sherman has transcribed Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude in F Major” for solo lever or pedal harp. This one-page piece develops hand independence and works on wrist release after single dyad articulations and cross-under patterns in the left hand. A basic Bach primer about ornaments, dynamics, phrasing and fingering is included along with historical information and notes.
