Prelude 1 in C Major

Laura Sherman has transcribed Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude 1 in C Major” for solo lever or pedal harp. This one-page piece develops hand independence and familiarity with common hand-shapes and left-hand fingering patterns found in Baroque music. A basic Bach primer about ornaments, dynamics, phrasing and fingering is included along with historical information and notes.
