Dance of the Butterflies

Joy Slaven’s original composition “Dance of the Butterflies” is for solo lever or pedal harp. A fun, lively tune with a wonderful singable melody. “When I play it,” the composer says, “I picture one butterfly in the beginning, but then a field of frolicking butterflies by the end!” Full of arpeggios and glissandos, the piece contains only one accidental (D-sharp).
