The Aesthetic Weasel

Based on a poem by Christian Morgenstern, The Aestetic Weasel by Heidi Cortez-Reicher is a whimsical piece for four to five lever or pedal harps. This piece allows the performers to be very creative. Water bowl tapping rhythms and tuning wrench glissandos are just a few of the fun things used to make the piece sound melodic and interesting. Parts range from advanced beginner to intermediate levels and parts 4 and 5 may be merged, if needed.
