Grosse Dramatische Fantaisie

$23.50

Delphine Constantin-Reznik has edited Swedish composer Anton Edvard Pratté’s Grosse Dramatische Fantaisie for solo pedal harp. Weber’s opera, “Der Freischütz” (The Free-Shooter), is one of the first (and one of the main) German early romantic operas. Premiered in 1821, it was a tremendous and lasting success and was very popular in the 19th century when composers wrote Fantaisies on famous opera themes, thus inspiring Pratté to compose the present Fantaisie.
