Il Est Né

Claire Swanson’s arrangement of the French carol “Il Est Né” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This light-hearted, syncopated rendition of the carol, also known as “He Is Born,” is a lot of fun to play. The slow middle section builds to a beautiful climax, and ends with the same light-hearted feel as the beginning of the piece.
