Two Folksongs from the Americas includes two traditional South American folk melodies, arranged by Alyssa Reit for pedal harp, flute, and viola. These two traditional tunes—”La Vidalita” and “Las Tres Damas”—are designed to be played together, yet work quite successfully as stand-alone pieces. Originally arranged for harp and flute duo, this new trio version also features the viola both melodically and rhythmically. Reit also offers this collection for pedal harp duo.
