The International Rhythmic Collection Vol. 2 is a collection of original music and traditional music from many regions across South America, North America, and Europe, arranged by Alfredo Rolando Ortiz for solo lever or pedal harp. This collection acquaints the player with the rhythmic styles of various kinds of music both by presenting tunes in traditional arrangements and through presenting famous melodies re-imagined as if they had been composed in other countries (including “How to Händel Latin Rhythms”)! Audio tracks for thirty-two of the collection’s easier pieces are also available for purchase. These recordings will help the harpist to feel the rhythmic pattern characteristic of each of the several wonderful Latin rhythms included.
