Ailie Robertson’s original composition Là Bealltainn is for solo lever or pedal harp. This delicate, ethereal piece is suitable for harps with 26 strings and up. On the piece, Robertson says, “I wrote this tune to celebrate the Celtic Festival of Beltane. Beltane (Là Bealltainn) is the Gaelic May Day festival. Most commonly it is held on May 1st, or about halfway between the spring equinox and summer solstice. It is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals.”
