Johnstone Strait in the Fog, by Elizabeth Volpé Bligh, is for two lever or pedal harps. It depicts an eerie, foggy passage through Johnstone Strait in British Columbia, using whimsical effects such as glissandi, whistling sounds, and arpeggios to evoke whales spouting and fog drifting around the boat. The piece is adapted from the solo version.
