By the principe od the 3rd try Heartland harps. They are MUCH lighter than DS, very resonant and very convinient instruments.
R-harps are good too.
Actually Salvi Donegall is a very good harp. It has caron strings, low tension and very ell-like sparkling sound.
But the listed one is not a Donegall, but the earlier model which are now out of produce.

I’ll inform if I have any information that it was found.… actually, my thought is that it won’t take much time: no way to sell it, except to the collectioners, if the information goes further.
We do the same on our factory, but sometimes we have to carry them on alone. It’s not quite havy – just completely uncomfortable. So I do: I bend the harp to the column and take it (horizontally) with one hand on column and other – around soundboard. And this lets me, – not a big girl of 53kg weight, – carry it with no problems for 20-30 meters and even more or several stairs up or down.
Either gut or carbon, by request. I used natural gut for all instrument from bass, for next 5 harps I’ll try to use carbon trebles.
Bernd Kuerschner calculates the tensions up to your request and/or measures. So, he works individually: the tension we have went out more balanced and delicate in range, meanwhile the Bow Brand we previously had is standart and didn’t fit on 100%. It takes slightly more time (about 2 weeks for big orders), but it worth. As a player, I must say that they are much more plesant to the fingers and have nicer respond to the touch.
Carl is right: loosing the strings will not help at all; the best you can do is to replace the neck. Check if your column is straight. To do this you need a lace and one of your rings. Tie the ring to the lace and hold the lace at the top of the column (ring to be at the bottom). If it shows that column bends – you are in trouble, but it is about 2-3% of probability at all.
If you change the tension, it might crack immediatelly (simple physics – it will explode)

I don’t either recommend Aoyama or Camac. 1st sometimes very roughly made and sound is far from delicious. Second… hmm, they are big and heavy, construction is strange and the sound… well, I’ve seen sounding Camacs and not sounding as well. What I really don’t like is that they make some abstract idea of harp, where wood exists very episodically. And the mechanism is very high-tech, but quite strange.
I can rise 2 hands up for L&H. Take Style100 – I brought several of them for Russian harpists and completely satisfied with their price/quality equivalence. As I remember, it lives in the same price level and mentioned Aoyama.Where in Germany do you live? That is normal. I once made a harp for the left-hander, already not a child, who wanted to play but felt hopeless with normal instrument. He is happy now.
I play my triple harp on right shoulder (being originally left-hander), but sometimes train to play oppositely. Very nice exersise for coordination and thinking. And nice joking trick on the stage.Congratulations!!
McFall was my dream for couple of years, until I realized that I’m rather an early music fan, than folk… I did not buy it when I had a chance to deposit for it. Gorgeous look and sound – really a great idea of to maybe spend more but have the professional harp: that is a strong encouraging moment to study.
