I am much more impressed with the Debussy Danses. I have never been a big fan of the Handel pieces. The Debussy would definitely be more difficult.

    Greg,

I would suggest you take down the part that says you are a celtic harpist. For someone who wants to simply hire a harpist they will probably interpret celtic harpist to mean that you only know celtic music.

The flute is a monophonic instrument that is capable of crescendos and decrescendos on held notes. The hap is of course not capable of these effects. It makes sense that the flute would often perform melody.

However in my experience playing with flute both instruments seem to have timbres that do not overpower each other, but meld beautifully.

I have gotten the how much does your harp cost and oh you wish you played a smaller instrument. I dont find either comment rude in anyway. I think those who find it rude are taking themselves too seriously. Most people have not felt the depth of emotion or feel for the instrument that we have, so we can not expect them to act in a way that they have.

(I have seen the Alice video I have seen almost all the videos of good harpists on youtube lol…I actually put a couple of me messing around for fun)

I really like Park stickney. Nicest guy and fantastic harpist. Im also quite partial to Renie. I also havae the live album of Susan Mcdonald playing all of Renie’s music…. I didnt hear glitches or mistakes in legende. I mean the video o xavier playing on youtube has mistakes when he is playing legende. I will have to think about some more harpists and get back to you guys. I used to have a cd of the salzedo harp duo. I dont know where it went, the only song i think i remember is the metal song or something i liked that one.

Camac has a couple differences. One it need not be regulated nearly as much because of a simple way to do it at home that takes about ten minutes. There is no pedal felts instead they use rubber that is much easier to replace. No pedal rods so you wont have to replace those. Also there is more room to play in the higher register. Camac has also made a few other upgrades but those are some of the bigger ones. Oh also camac weigh less.
