    Cheryl

Laura Bush, she always seems like such a genuine and warm person, not aloof like some of the First Lady’s before her.

Kim, I am so sorry you had to be dragged into this, but it has gone from someone’s venting and fantasy to something much more dangerous in the legal realm.

All the years the girls were taking lessons and practicing our dog(s) would come in and lay next to the harps and stay there as long as they were playing.

Someone noted bag balm…. another similar product is Udder Balm, just like cow udders’s which is what it was orginally made for when it was cold and dry and they had the same problem due to milking machines.

Common sense dictates that if all the major harp manufactuers ie.,

ourselves at VENUS. L&H and Salvi have been in business as long as we

have and are still actively engaged in business that we all make good products and stand behind what we make.

    S.M.

I think what some people forget in discussion where there are definite likes and dislikes of company’s and their product, is that the buyer, this case YOU, IS the person paying for it and the person that will be living with and playing the harp for most likely a LONG time.

“My L&H 85CG is a very good and reliable friend which I have had for 8 years (has it really been that long now?)- I think you will find the 85P to be reliable and well made, but it is also important that you like it, which has to be your own decision! If you can try at least two of the harps of that size/price you will be better able to decide which you like. L&H 85P, Salvi Daphne 40, Camac Clio, Pilgrim Progress and whatever the equivalent Aoyama and Venus are- probably a few others exist too.

VENUS Harps does not make a 40 string model pedal harp, our smallest

is the 42 String Millenium which sells slightly less than the L&H 85P.

I thought the whole string of replies was pretty amusing myself. Easy to figure out who’s dog people vs. cat people 🙂

Rule of thumb with cats is..if you don’t want them on it, in it or chewing it/eating it, keep them from getting to it.

My daugther’s ferrets (3 of them) love sleeping inside of the base also.

These scams are multiplying like Easter Bunnies, I’m averaging at least 4 – 6 a day for the used harps we have listed on our classified section and the scammers on EBAY are becoming just as troublesome as well.

I would urge anyone that finds harps, espeically pedal harps on Ebay to move cautiously and gather all the info you can from the seller to make sure it is legit.
