    Regarding Self-Teaching, I think the Pamela Bruner books and DVD explain technique far more clearly and the DVD is not region coded, so will play here in the UK. Pamela

    I don’t think it was the “pop music of the day,” but more likely the music of the upper classes for the most part. The lower classes still had their own “jams.”

    It was, but they had their “groupies” the same as they do at the present day LOL so it was sort of “pop music” back then.
