Intermezzo

arr. Floraleda Sacchi

I absolutely adore this piece from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana. Arranged by Floraleda Sacchi, t is timeless and elegant for all occasions.

Life Aquatic

by Cindy Horstman

Cindy Horstman’s compositions are always such a joy to play. This piece weaves together classical and jazz styles while it tells the story of aquatic life like otters playing and the movement of waves.

Annen-Polka

arr. Angela Madjarova

Strauss’ upbeat dance melody is great deal of fun to play and hear. I think this arrangement by Angela Madjarova would be entertaining for cocktail hours or a recital finale piece.

The Swan

arr. Kimberly Rowe

This is one of my all-time favorite duets. Originally for harp and cello, Kimberly Rowe has adapted it for several different ensembles including harp and flute.

Paquito

by Andy Scott

If you are looking for a unique piece for your harp and flute duo, try this lively, salsa-inspired piece by Andy Scott. It would make an excellent encore piece!

Chanson de Mai

arr. Angela Klöhn

This harp classic has been reimagined for harp and flute by Angela Klöhn and it’s absolutely beautiful! Klöhn includes arrangements in two different keys: D-flat major (the original key) and C major (easier for the solo instrument).

Bach’s classic work suits flute and harp so well! O’Meara has also arranged this for pedal harp and flute.

*Casadh an tSúgáin

arr. Daniel Whibley

There’s something purely magical about Irish music written for flute and harp. This gorgeous piece would be perfect for weddings, church services, recitals, and more.

*Blissful Day

arr. Joy Slavens

This piece by Joy Slavens is a ray of sunshine. Its happy melody would be welcome at a variety of events. The parts are very accessible making this an easy piece to put together.

*Two Swedish Hymns

arr. Barbara Chapman & Debra Cross

I hadn’t heard either of these hymns before coming upon this medley by Barbara Chapman and Debra Cross. It includes two Swedish folk hymns: “Thy Holy Wings” and “Children of the Heavenly Father.” It is quite gentle in nature and very soothing to listen to. This would be wonderful for a number of occasions.
