Composer and classical/jazz trumpeter Gary Guthman is an internationally acclaimed artist whose work bridges jazz, swing, symphonic and chamber music, and musical theatre. During his career, he collaborated with many legendary artists including Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Henry Mancini, and Michel Legrand, performed at more than 200 venues across North America, and headlined at Carnegie Hall as well as in the award-winning production “Forever Swing”. Since establishing his artistic career in Europe in 2006, Guthman has devoted himself increasingly to classical composition, creating acclaimed symphonic, chamber, vocal-instrumental, and theatrical works, including the musicals “Letter from Warsaw” and “Vesper”.
