Willi Maerz has arranged Max Reger’s “Mariä Wiegenlied” (Virgin’s Slumber Song) for four pedal harps. Stylistically, the piece leans gently towards Bavarian Christmas carols. “The tender and intimate mood of this song is in wonderful harmony with the sound of the harp, which gave me the inspiration to arrange the piece,” says Maerz.
