Notes from the composer
The video shows the written out part of the score (up to around 2:00) – the improvisation after that is not notated: the player can use their imagination to improvise as ambitiously or as simply as they like, depending on their skill level (and mood!).
In this arrangement, one harp plays the 5/4 groove, the other the melody in octaves, although of course the parts could swap over on a repeat.
Although the time signature is unusual and the rhythm a little tricky, neither part is technically difficult to play and on a lever harp there are no lever changes required (a pedal harp would need to change one pedal to shift between the chords; on a lever harp the levers can be set and left alone throughout).
