The Angel Gabriel

Tamsin Dearnley has arranged the traditional Basque carol “The Angel Gabriel” (also known as “Gabriel’s Message”) in two versions for solo lever or pedal harp. “This beautiful Basque melody deserves to be better known!” says Dearnley. “These two easy arrangements may be played one after the other to form a longer solo, or individually if you prefer one over the other. For a longer solo, try repeating the piece an octave lower.” This piece is also available as part of Dearnley’s collection The Holly and the Harp–Christmas Carols for the Lever Harp.
