Tamsin Dearnley’s arrangement of the traditional tune “Takeda Komoriuta” (Takeda Lullaby) is for solo lever or pedal harp. This beautiful lullaby is from the Kyoto region of Japan. The lyrics tell the story of a girl who has been sent away from her family to be a nursemaid to a child. However, she is less than happy with this job, singing sadly that the child bullies her and that she would like to go home to her parents and celebrate the traditional Bon festival with them.
