Isles & Tiles, by Tamsin Dearnley, is a collection of seven original tunes for lever or pedal harp and optional melody instrument. (Dearnley’s recording features harp and clarinet.) She says the music, which was written for a video game soundtrack, “draws influence from the hypnotic Breton folk tradition and the proto jazz of bal-folk, resulting in a unique style that sounds exactly like the music of a place that doesn’t quite exist.” Scroll down for contents.
