Tamsin Dearnley’s arrangement of Turlough O’Carolan’s “Fairy Queen” is for solo lever or pedal harp. “The Fairy Queen is a figure who often appears in British and Irish folklore as a beautiful, mysterious and powerful figure who reigns over the wee folk,” says Dearnley. This lovely, lilting waltz gets more beautiful the more you play it. It is divided into three sections and is perfect for any occasion—but particularly suitable to play should you find yourself in an enchanted woodland!
