Première Gymnopédie

Sunita Staneslow’s arrangement of Erik Satie’s Première Gymnopédie is for solo lever harp. This is one of Satie’s most famous compositions and almost sounds as if it was originally written for the harp. Although there are multiple lever changes, the tempo is slow enough to make the chromatic changes required to keep this piece as close to the original as possible. This piece can also be purchased as part of Staneslow’s collection Great French Composers for Folk Harp.
