Morpeth Lasses

Stephanie Claussen’s arrangement of the traditional Scottish song “Morpeth Lasses” is for solo lever or pedal harp. This is a variation on the very popular Scottish tune “Marry Me Now.” Claussen’s arrangement plays with rhythms a bit, substituting dotted or triplet rhythms instead of solid eighth notes. It is a fantastic rhythm workout. This piece can also be purchased as part of Claussen’s collection The Road Home from Skye.
